Mike Schmitt PT

Michael Schmitt is a 1993 graduate of Slippery Rock University with a strong background in orthopedic and acute care physical therapy. After graduation, he gained extensive experience as Director of the Physical Therapy Department at Fulton County Medical Center before founding Frederick Physical Therapy Inc. in 2001. Dedicated to staying at the forefront of his field, he pursues two to five courses annually. His advanced training includes osteopathic manual techniques from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, as well as specialized coursework through The Barral Institute, The Chikly Institute, The Upledger Institute, The Jones Institute, the Institute of Physical Art, and Barnes Myofascial Release. With a commitment to evidence-based care and hands-on therapy, Michael continues to provide expert treatment, helping patients restore function and achieve optimal movement.
